Cafe San Camilo

So I’m a little confused. We entered into this warren of restaurants on the corner of the square at Calle 3. Our intention was to find a chai tea latte with almond milk for my brother in law. Inside the warren We walked past a Mexican counter and a hamburger place and a sushi area but there were no tables vacant until we got to the back of the warren where there were several empty tables with reserved signs. With one table occupied by a foursome drinking coffee and hand painting figurines. A kind gentleman removed the reserved sign from one of the empty tables and we sat down. The snacks we ordered (pandebonitos, filled croissants, and a couple of other pasteles were delicious, as was the coffee, the beer and the chai. We had a good time enjoyed our snacks and got a bill from this cafe. We’ll be back to try some of the other restaurant in the warren.

I liked the coffee and salmon croissant so much here. The waiters are kind and attentive. The coffee was medium roast and delicious. Croissants are mostly sweet in Colombia, but here they had a salty and whole wheat option. Amazing. Highly recommended.

Nice bagels and croissants in sandwich style, very tasty. Also a great variety of coffees... and you can watch how they roast it. Really a recommendation.

The atmosphere is great and calm. The waitress was very nice and patient with us. I had a cream cheese bagel, it was crunchy, and so was the bacon croissant. My favorite part was the mini pancakes, the biscoff pancakes where a little sour, I think it was because of the yogurt. I also had the cheese cake croissant, which didn't really taste like cheesecake. It was more like a croissant with jelly. I recommend the Chai latte, the watermelon refresher, American breakfast, the bagel cream cheese, and if you're looking for something not to sweet the nutella mini pancakes.

The food is good, great space to hang out and have lunch and they have good coffee. I come here because it’s probably the best option if you like specialty coffee. The only downside is the customer service is mediocre. The waitress will neglect you and walk right by you without thinking to ask if you need anything, and never come to check in you. If you want something it’s likely you need to get up and go find someone.

I find the coffee way too acid. No vegan option available. Matcha latte was okay and the chocolate chip cookie was great !!

Stumbled upon this small cafe by chance and ended up staying for over an hour, talking with the owners! They distribute their coffee to many restaurants in the country and just opened this little cafe in November. They have such a passion for specialty coffee, you can literally taste it! There’s plenty of seating area around the market or you could take your coffee to go.
